DOTSTUDIOPRO PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: May 11, 2015

The video on-demand services you (“you” or “your” or “user”) are currently using (the “Service”) is powered by a video hosting and management platform (“Platform”) operated by Dotstudioz Inc. (“Company” or “we” or “our” or “us”). Our Platform is used by our customers to operate their video on-demand services (such third parties, “Operators”). This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how the Company treats information collected or provided in connection with an end user’s use of the Service as well as other video on-demand services operated by the Operators (collectively, “Services”).
When you use this Service, the Operator of the Service will collect, use and disclose information in connection with your use. This Policy does not describe the Operator’s information practices. As such, you should review the privacy policies published by the Operator of this Service if you have any questions in that regard.
Note that the Company is not involved in operating the Services other than acting as a service provider to Operators by providing them use of the Platform. Operators are separate third parties that are not affiliated with the Company. Operators, and not the Company, make all decisions and have control over content selection and availability, how much to charge for that content and what the payment and refund terms are. Any disputes (including billing disputes) or questions relating to your use of (or inability to use) any Services should be addressed to the applicable Operator, as the Company does not have the authority or responsibility to resolve any such issues.

1. COLLECTED INFORMATION

The information collected by the Company during your use of the Services includes the following:
(a) Submitted information: As part of using the Services, you may submit certain information, including personal information. “Personal information” is information that we can directly associate with a specific person or entity without additional information. For example, when registering for an account on the Services, we will collect your name and e-mail address. When paying to use the Services, you will provide payment information, such as billing address and credit card information. We do not store credit card numbers you may use to make payments on the Services. Payment information is passed on to our third-party payment processing service provider, which handles payments and refunds for us on behalf of the Operators.
(b) Automatically Collected Information: When you use the Services, we gather certain non-personal information from you, and this information can be associated with your user account. This includes usage information, such as information on when, how often and for how long you use the Services, which features of the Services you use, and log data such as information regarding your device type, device OS version, language settings, network connectivity and time zone.

2. USE OF INFORMATION

(a) Provision of Services. We will use collected information for the purposes of providing the features and functionality of the Services to you.
(b) Personalized Content. We may use the collected information to personalize the content that you and others see based on personal characteristics or preferences.
(c) Analytics and Improvements. We may also analyze collected information relating to your use of the Services in order to help us improve the Services and develop and improve other products and services.
(d) Promotional Offers. We may use the collected information to provide you with promotional materials and offers.

3. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

We share and disclose the information we collect about you as follows:
(a) Third-party Service Providers. We may use contractors and third-party service providers to assist us in making available the Services. Such third-party contractors or service providers may obtain access to the information you provide, including personal information.
(b) Advertising. We may partner with third party advertising technology and services providers in order to tailor the advertising you see when you use the Services based on the content you choose to watch on the Services and other information such service providers may have collected regarding you and your activities. In connection with this, we would disclose an anonymous identifier and your viewing data to such service providers. We would not disclose any personally identifiable information. For more information on such practices and the ability to opt-out, please visit http://www.aboutads.info and http://www.networkadvertising.org.
(c) Aggregated Data. We may make aggregated, anonymous data regarding activity on the Services available to third parties.
(e) Transfer as Corporate Asset. In the event of a merger, sale of capital stock or assets, reorganization, consolidation or similar transaction involving Company, the information we possess, including personally identifiable information, shall be transferred as a corporate asset to the acquiring entity.
(f) Legal Requirement. We will use and disclose information where we, in good faith, believe that the law or legal process (such as a court order, search warrant or subpoena) requires us to do so or in other circumstances where we believe it is necessary to protect the rights or property of Company, our users and/or third parties.
(g) Affiliates. We may disclose this information to our affiliates for use as described in this Policy.

4. EFFECTIVE DATE; CHANGES

When we make any changes to our practices under this Policy, we will change the Effective Date. We will treat your continued use of the Services following such change as your acceptance of the changes. However, we will seek your affirmative consent prior to applying any material change to this Policy on how we use or disclose personally identifiable information to information we collected or received prior to the date of the change.

5. VIEWING, AMENDING AND DELETING INFORMATION

You can log into your account and view, amend or delete your account information at any time. Please note that while changes to your profile information are reflected promptly in active user databases, our servers may retain previously provided information.

6. SECURITY

The personally identifiable information we collect about you is stored in limited access servers. We will maintain reasonable safeguards to protect the security of these servers and your personally identifiable information. However, no security measures are 100% effective and we cannot guarantee the security of your personally identifiable information. We expressly disclaim any representation or warranty, whether express or implied, with respect to ensuring, guaranteeing or otherwise offering any definitive promise of security in connection with your personal information or usage information.
